Press Release: Austrian company wins innovation prize at CeBIT 2008

KINAMU’s ERP- & CRM all-in-one packages awarded

1.600 companies submitted their products and solutions for the innovation prize 2008 to be awarded at the world’s biggest IT show. An Austrian company secured the prize. The KINAMU Business Solutions AG, a provider of ERP and CRM solutions for midsize companies (www.kinamu.com) with its headquarters in Schwechat near Vienna, has been awarded the innovation prize 2008 of the SME supporting association “Initiative Mittelstand” in the category “On-Demand”. The Austrian SAP spin-off company was able to convince the prize committee consisting of 35 renowned scientists, experts and specialized journalists of their ERP and CRM solutions on the basis of SAP and open-source software targeted at midsize companies. By awarding the prize the committee honored the outstanding innovative potential inherent in KINAMU’s products and solutions and the extraordinary benefit for the midsize market. KINAMU offers midsize companies with 50 to 500 employees ready-to-use appliances including hard- and software, implementation service, operation and support at a fixed price per month with no initial investments and risks involved.

This year only 40 Austrian companies participated in the world’s biggest IT show, however few they were they stood out for their innovative achievements.
