Focus on SME and business solutions

We are convinced of the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) for the European economy as the major part of enterprises are SMEs. The demands of SMEs on IT do not differ considerably from those of large companies. IT for SMEs, however, has to be a pragmatic, easy-to-use model. Further, IT has to be sufficiently versatile to be able to support rather than stifle the dynamics of SMEs. Not least, IT has to be an enabler which we want to provide at the best possible terms.

KINAMU's central focus is to provide business solutions (ERP, CRM, etc.) for SMEs. Our approach and the company's overall activities are oriented towards this business objective. We provide our services to SMEs and to SMEs only. We offer our customers only business solutions and no complete IT infrastructure. According to our opinion and experience this would require different experts with different skills. As far as the IT infrastructure and other components are concerned we cooperate with partner companies which have specialized in the respective areas.

Our model is based on the cooperation with strong partners with tried and tested solutions and "best-in-class" services. Thanks to our approach and delivery model we are able to achieve economies of scale. The thus obtainable service levels and terms we will pass on to our customers.

Commitment to Open Source / the hybrid approach

We believe in open source as the suitable development model to quickly provide high-quality software solutions and, above all, to accelerate innovation on the market. There are numerous examples already that clearly underline this fact, as do many projects on business software. However, to use open source software in a company requires a specific model as the company itself or a service provider has to take over warranty.

Our solution, however, is not exclusively based on open source we also use commercial products (e.g. SAP as ERP solution) if we deem them more suitable. By combining both approaches to the KINAMU hybrid model we are convinced to be able to provide our customers the best solution at the most attractive price.
